No Snow

Christmas time is such a busy time, and I can't deny that I do love it. The only downer is that, there really isn't much snow left on the ground, so it feels a bit weird. I can't really remember a December where we didn't have any snow, but apparently it's not the first time it's happened... I guess you can't remember the weather of every year, though. I haven't had the chance to venture out with my camera in a while, but I was looking through my photos and stumbled across some things I took in the fall that I love, but never really posted around. I don't normally take photos of landscape or nature, but it was nice for a change. Ah, I miss the weather and the beauty of fall!

Winter Beauty Bible

Recently, I've been worrying a lot about my skin. With winter in full swing, and Christmas right around the corner, it's been a difficult skin time. However, I've noticed that my skin has been super dry compared to the other years. So now my worry is: how to moisturize and keep my skin soft in this awful weather!

Wishlist

My Little Pony

On Friday I had the pleasure of photographing my wonderful friend, Dan! We went out to my aunt and uncle's place to take some pics! They have a hobby farm, and it's pretty much my favourite place in the entire world. Took some photos with a miniature stallion, HB (Hay Burner) and a Shetland pony, Bow, as well as Lola (the great pyrenees). It was a wonderful shoot before the arrival of snow and fighting the sunset.

Avant Music

This weekend I had the pleasure of, once again, photographing Harea Band at the Avant-Garde bar in Ottawa. It was an amazing show, and I was really content with a lot of the photos that I got this time around (good lighting does wonders). The venue itself was a nice place, somewhat small but there was a really great atmosphere. Here are some of the photos that I've edited so far, since school makes for slow editing times.

Blacksheep Inn

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to get to photograph Harea Band (and some special additions for the stage) at the Blacksheep Inn in Wakefield. Honestly, it's been a while since I was able to take photos of a band, and I was a bit worried beforehand, but I got a few shots that I really like! If you haven't heard them before, I strongly recommend checking them out or heading to one of their shows if you can. You won't be disappointed!
